It is a cold wet day - so perfect for hand stitching the binding onto a quilt. I use snap hair clips to keep the binding in place while I stitch it down. I thought that was how everyone did it, but judging from some comments I have received maybe not. Any way I definitely recommend it as a technique to use.

One of the modern quilting books I gave does the binding that way. I really must try it because I usually just put in a couple of pins ahead of myself and usually it's fine but occasionally I poke myself!
Bahahaha less pokey (clips not pins)...I love the sherbet pips fabric - what did you use as a blender? Can we see the whole thing? Looks pretty.
