Making Your Own Quilt Label - 4+ A Week Progress

This week has not been the best as far as creating and crafting.  A 7 day work week, a sick girl, husband away and sore back don't make for a lot of crafting.  But I am grateful for what I have accomplished  some cutting, some envelopes, which I will share in a later post and although it is only small, a quilt label...

I am so happy with how this turned out.  I used the freezer paper method for putting fabric through the printer.  I followed this You Tube clip:

And I downloaded the border from Star Sunflower Studio.  Isn't the internet a wonderful thing?

I have down my usual with labels and sewn a backing fabric to it with right sides together and turned it.  All I need to do is hand stitch it onto the quilt.

That's pretty neat ... I might just have to give that a try ... the only thing I'd do differently is to draft print out my label onto the plain paper first, then I'll know exactly where to glue the freezer paper and fabric so it prints in the right place ... no guessing involved!

Hope your week improves and you get some more crafting time over the weekend. :)
