What with the school holidays I feel as though there is not a spare minute to come up for air.
There are a number of exciting things happening at Stitchbird Fabrics, but I can't tell you just yet, otherwise I might jinx it! But keep your fingers crossed for me.
One of the things I can show you is a gorgeous lampshade I have had made using the echino birdsong fabric in pink.
Now for the giveaway part which I know you were all wanting to read about - which I have left until last - so you have to read the other bits!
It has happened again, I have two copies of the latest NZ Quilter. No, I am not going doolally and forgetting that I have bought one (although this could happen :)). The lovely Mr S gave me a subscription for Christmas and the lovely people at NZ Quilter also send me a copy when I advertise in their magazine.
So would you like a copy of this magazine...
I love these quilts which are featured inside...
Also because I won a giveaway this week and I believe in paying it forward and sharing the loooovvvve, I will also pop some goodies from my stash in. And I have got good stash!
To enter just leave a comment, if you would like two entries, become a follower and even better tell your friends.
More about the giveaway that I won next time, with some photos.
Happy stitching.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and your big news ! I hope it all works out .
Yes please! I love the look of the 'Memory Lane' quilt and your lampshade is stunning. I purchased some of the Echino fabric from you and still can't decide what to do with it. I just totally love it so want to make sure I make something that will be seen all the time :)
Didn't know the next issue was out already! I'd love to win a copy :)))
I love the look of that memory lane quilt too especially the bright colours, very clever.

I'd love to win a copy. I used to be in a quilting group with Fyvie Murray. Her workmanship is breathtaking. If I don't win I will just have to dash out an buy a copy to read up all about what she's up to now.
Your lampshade is fabulous! Does it count as part of your stash (ha ha)
Please pop me in the draw - am also a follower :)
Thanks!
Great giveaway - I haven't had a chance to buy that issue yet :-)

Just started quilting so would love some inspiration! Plus love your lamp, would you by any chance want to put instructions up on how you made it? It would look fantastic in my little girls room... Love your blog! Tessa C

International (UK) follower - with a sister in Wellington! I so love your blog, will be checking in over our 'summer holidays' for more inspiration! I bet I'll stand no chance in the giveaway if I mention it's too hot for a quilt here just now :) x
Love the lampshade, very inspiring!
How fabulous that you've started a dream business selling fabrics! I have seen the fabric in the Nancy's in Wellington and had been imagining wonderful uses for it - the lampshade looks great.
